From Briefing.Com today: "14:48 ET Online Brokers Rally : Another late-session surge by the online brokerage group. Schwab (SCH 39 1/4 +1 5/8) has covered the most ground, rallying more than 5 pts off its low of the day. Also participating are E*TRADE Group (EGRP 27 3/16 +1 1/8), Knight/Trimark Group (NITE 41 +3 9/16), Ameritrade (AMTD 21 1/4 +15/16), National Discount Brokers (NDB 27 13/16 +1 1/4) and Siebert Financial (SIEB 14 5/8 +3/4)."
As I post this WEBS is 9 1/2- 9 9/16 off 15/16, which is now under its IPO price of $10. What is the street trying to say? Whatever it is, it isn't positive.
