I didn't express it right, yes, you have to be disabled, completely, or you aren't eligible. It's really tough to get, I know because I've handled a couple of cases. One guy got it, but he was in the terminal stages of AIDS in a coma when it was approved, the other guy, who took a disability retirement from D.C. government, couldn't qualify. I don't have a problem with that, I just don't understand what we have welfare AND SSD for. Do you?
