Good article in Red Herring this month on the news stand... (Though couldn't find same article online...I'll take another look though). The article talked about how venture capital firms were investing and keeping controlling interest in synergistic groups of interrelated internet companies. The article mentioned SFE, ACRI, CMGI, and other public and private firms but not RRRR. The article referred too these firms as eco-Nets, or something like that, and stated that these will be the conglomerates of the next century. RRRR seems to be following this model and filling its portfolio with two potentially extremely lucrative sectors: internet telephony and downloadable music. Should be very interesting to see how RRRR's companies develop along and within these sectors. RRRR's bd of directors seems to be making some very wise and focused acquisitions. z
