Mogul, could you explain to me how the shorts are affecting AH trading on any stock, not just CLIC?
I have shorted stocks and have always wondered how shorts affect the tape besides making it go up when they buy to cover. I would appreciate yours and anyone's take on this.
Discussed it in depth with several friends the other day and we could not figure out how borrowing shares from your brokerage, who is "borrowing them from someone else" causes the stocks price to drop. How can this be since the borrowed shares are not on the open market and are owned by somebody else. Those borrowed shares don't show up as a sell on the tape but shows up as a buy when shorts are covered. That is why the stock price will surge up when the shorts cover.
