Talk about self-rightiousness!

I’m curious as to what your problem is with this study? Why is it imperative to have Ivy League professors sign off on it? Do you actually think that a professor at a school that owes huge endowments to the Kennedy family would dare to put his name on such a politically incorrect research study?!?

IQ tests have been proven time and time again to be highly effective predictors of an individuals future success in both education and the working world. For the most part, no matter what your special intelligence (creativity, art, etx), you are not likely to succeed with it with a low IQ.

As far as I can tell, the professors listed on this study work at large, government funded land grant universities. These professors are allowed to actually form real opinions based upon fact, because most of their schools money is provided by federal and state grants – not endowments from retired politicians. Just because something is politically incorrect does not make it untrue, or even racist.

The reason that these professors are experts is the fact that they teach at some of the best respected public Universities in the nation. As I’m sure you are aware, land grant University professors provide the bulk of the research knowledge in America. Private colleges like Harvard do not fund much research because it does not have as great of an endowment and political pay-off as sitting on a corporate board.

Oh, and since it seems to matter to you, my IQ tested at 127 when I was 10 years old, just low enough to prevent me from entering my school’s TAG program. My ACT score was 27. My high school GPA was 1.30(no typo here) on a 4.0 scale, and my college GPA was 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. My GMAT score was 620 with a 5 verbal (top 15% of MBA candidates). If it makes you feel better, I am also 1/8 black by heritage – do you think this is why I’m not a genius?
