Skeeter, < however, i'm sure you have observed people in your line of work manipulate accounting> I took a 6 year break from my engineering position to work in our financial department doing revenue forecasting. I have seen plenty of accounting. IMO, there is nothing wrong with using GAAP to your best advantage. There is nothing dishonest or hidden about it.... Abuses of the system will be exposed sooner or later and can easily be spotted by knowledgable investors. BTW, Dan Niles (one of Intel's biggest critics for the last 12 months) just upped his target from 100 to 125 (he also upped his 2000 EPS from 2.55 to 2.9). I'll keep my year end target at 115 until I see Q1 <gg>. He was quick to note that even if you take out the extra Other Income (i.e. the amount over the guidance of 280 given 3 months ago) you still get 0.64. biz.yahoo.com FF
