I wonder....is this "house of the future" stuff for real.
Most refrigerators I've seen are a mess...will people actually begin to store things in proper places, and thereby allow the ref to "make up" your shopping list, which you can then zap to netgrocer.com....and so on. This begins to seem pretty far fetched to me....as in, I left a burner on, and I can turn it off with my pc from work. Come on, why not just put a sensor in the darn thing like the lights in my car? Digital light bulbs that tell me they're about to burn out? Heck, the last time it happened to me, the burglar tripped the alarm and still got away with my stuff before the cops got there!

I'm sure there will be someone here who can tell me what I'm missing.
