I think Jeff mentioned that she would have likely been seen on Elm. I don't know what would be a better "pick-up" location close to Phelps Gate.

Is it really likely that she'd have been "seen" on Elm where, if we go with this scenario, she would have spent only a few minutes? Is it in any way unusual that she wasn't seem walking across campus? That would have taken ten to fifteen minutes, and she must have passed many people, but apparently no one spotted her.

Again: my Theory Number One is that she walked to Phelps Gate, saw Stein, was NOT seen by Xeyes, started back home, again across campus, and then something happened....
