It gives us an idea how "good" a processor launch is. --- I follow your reasoning, but I'm not sure I agree with your conclusion. In a competitive industry (which this currently is) that much oversupply at the time of launch means that you should've launched earlier. The old-style Intel launches are only effective when there's no serious competition. - Eric
