Could it be that Access Power has the Ip Network and Vocaltec has the multi-service software platform for IP communications? They're definitely getting together along with Lycos, Freephone and some others. But Access power seems to be the only one with the e-button being marketed at their site. I use to think that one needed to have an Ip telephony co. to be able to call a service rep with the e-button but it appears that may not be so thanks to Java. It's the company that has the Website with the e-button that pays per e-button. But anyone that clicks that button wether they downloaded a phone and have an internet telephony co. or NOT will still be able to talk to a customer service rep. thanks to the applet(and Access Power's Network?). The other thing I'm curious about is: Did some large company with a presence on the internet buy e-buttons? Anyway, it all looks good to me.
