AOL has already been making deals and offering DSL. I am sure that AOL feels the need to be ubiquitous and available via all three methods of delivery: cable, DSL and wireless. I am sure there are lots of AOL users who don't want cable. Plus Time Warner cable is not everywhere, e.g., Dallas.
