Dave, great analogy (very creative !). I also like to think of them as a "catty" company with nine lives -- very shrewd/cunning, beautiful to look at, seemingly standoffish and surreptitious, enigmatic and hard to approach (but maybe they'll start purring when I get my arms around them !), and hard to kill -- they just keep coming back and surprising us with new and potentially very positive developments.
After a lot of false starts, rebirths, etc., I think this year is gonna turn out to be the major inflection point for the company. IMO, a couple of years from now we're gonna look back at 2000 as being the make-or-break year. . . GMGC is either gonna turn out to be a super investment, or they're not gonna make it in their current form. There are good arguments on both sides of the equation, many of which have recently been posted here. I've also placed my bet on the company at the track (but to Win, not Show), and we're all free to make our own decisions . . . there are plenty of other horses out there (but I don't have the wherewithal to bet on all of 'em !!). As always, only time will tell.
