I once attended a church singles group
for months and months it was fun as hell, good people, parties, skiing trip
over the course of three years, it went downhill fast
the nicest, most sociable, best balanced all left, or married off
eventually, a bunch of my friends and I simply stopped attending ourselves
I coined the phenomenon "DE-EVOLUTION"
we would speak for months about the keyword DEVO
we would sing and hum the rock group's songs from DEVO
de-evolution consists of reverse development, survival of the unfittest, discouragement of the strong and leaders, encouragement of the noisy gongs and drivel and whimpers
