Ike, To put it in perspective, I just bought my last third. The Intel report was so full of scams that it was actually funny. Oddly enough, the analysts commented on some of the scams and, like Joe E. Lewis in "Some Like It Hot," when Jack Lemmon tells him he is really a man, not a woman, they are saying, "well, nobody is perfect."

However, they are admitting that this quarter will stink because demand is so high. And that will filter down to the price as Compaq, Dell, Hewlett and IBM report their disasters. Assuming they don't try the same tricks Intel used. <g>

So, I want to own the puts right now, because this stock price is out to lunch relative to the lousy operating quarter. Just remember, even if you accept Intel's 64 cents eps number as being semi-honest, and it's not, that is still a gain over 1998 of 9.4%. Oh, yeah, that is worth a 35% up move on the stock. <g> But have no fear, they didn't even get close to a 9.4% gain.
