Don, thanks for the response, sure don't know where this is going, but I no longer have a vested interest in the outcome. As it turned out, I will be able to use the capital loss against some timber we sold last fall so it will come in handy for that. Plus I immediately bought IOM at near its low 3 3/8 and it is now flirting with breaking into the 6s, maybe next week when IOM comes out with earnings on the 20th. All in all, still trying to get above water from all my wonderful "investments". But may just get lucky in 2000!

Regarding the mystery bidder, only time will reveal who this is. One can think of several likely candidates, but when we do find out it will probably be a surprise to us all. Of course, this could just be another ploy by the insiders to drive the price of RAIN up before another "mystery bidder" shows up on the scene. And I read that the bid is only preliminary and will only go through when other terms are met. Needless to say I no longer trust anyone associated with this company. When Berman can come up with a deal like LACO did, then anything can happen. The sleaze quotient for this group is just beyond belief!

Good Luck, Glad to be out... Mel
