"but that is likely to take time to gell."

You may well be correct, but, I'm betting Case' past performance IS indicative of future events. He knows the merger is and will be under extreme scrutiny and that the new company must display initiative as well as accomplishment. That kid ain't gonna let no grass grow under his feet, or anyone else's for that matter. He further knows that there are no doubt, other such mergers presently in the works and that to maintain leadership, big stuff must happen. He's yet to disappoint shareholders and I don't think he will in the future.

It is indeed rare for me to have so much faith in a company leader, but, Case has displayed to shareholders that he cares and rewarded shareholders with mucho personal return for their money. Damn few CEO's give a shit at all about their investors, much less provide the ROI. I'm not talkin' about price performance based on pure speculation without earnings support. I'm talkin' about real value and an ever brightening future. I think he'll just keep on doin' it and my money says the same.
