on writing ability, you be shinin' my ass again

father is retired american literature professor
writing is in the genes and gentle chords
when a kid, my grades in English were unsatisfactory
getting "B" was not up to standards
some minor rebellion I suppose
even ventured into incessant slang -- street, black, cool
slang annoyed daddy to no end
but when I was punished for "B" in English steadily, I upped the ante

turned to mathematics, the queen of all sciences
more innate ability and potential anyway
that was a higher level of rebellion
pulled a few false fire alarms, built hydrogen gas bombs from lye
the usual fare of kid stuff antics and mayhem

I love the english language, but screw schoolwork english
later got "C" in English but straight "A" in math
the math streak never ended, all the way to doctoral work
but the english language was always be just plain fun
I marvel at the various ethnic groups dialects

by far, english is the most creative, flexible, dynamic language in the world

taking donations to send the VoltMan to typewriting class
that two finger shit has gotta go

need those heaps a hay for luring young Jill
aint got no class here, perfect for a fisical fling

QCOM is struggling to regain any momentum, as expected
I thought it would be touching 150 by now

word up, dude
