DownSouth, your research and posting on NTAP is greatly appreciated. It's like getting a history lesson on NTAP in GG terms. I've printed out the posts and will be including them in a soon-to-be-assembled NTAP folder (if I can ever get my act together).

The relative strength NTAP has shown in this correction has been something everyone should take notice of. NTAP and GMST, in particular, are within a couple of points of making new highs, while Q remains 25% below its high. Granted, Q is consolidating after another monster run-up and a 4:1 split. But even so, this could signal a relative shift in leadership going forward.

I decided a couple of weeks ago to take a position in NTAP. I'm struggling with what to sell to do so. I'm down to four stocks, so it means selling something I'm fairly attached to. Q is now about 65% of my portfolio, and I think I've decided to pare it down a little. If you can believe it, I'm trying to time it (someone stop me!!). Q announces earnings on 1/25, and NTAP on 2/15. My plan is to sell some Q after their announcement (and hopefully a nice run up and short squeeze), and put it into NTAP prior to their announcement. Maybe I can ride both waves of positive news.
