When you read the story above you have to conclude that the erosion in value last year was really the market concluding that NETA overpaid for many of the acquisitions they made. I think Network General was a good acquisition at the right price. I think Dr. Solomon, TIS, and Cybermedia were big mistakes. The rest of them were just okay and it is still too early to tell if PGP was a good one.
