I agree with you. ABX and PDG are smart hedgers and great companies; and I am no big fan of hedging. I consider ABX and PDG to be a steal under $17 and $10 respectively - though they may very well get cheaper. Failure to distinguish the type of hedging ABX and PDG do in contrast to Ashanti and Cambior shows absolute ignorance.
