If they shift ongoing businesses out of segment breakout information, methinks (gotta go check SEC/FASB..) they have to restate prior periods. Indeed: check out Item 101, section b here: sec.gov "SFAS No. 131 provides that if an issuer changes the structure of its internal organization in a manner that causes the composition of its reportable segments to change, the issuer must restate the corresponding information for earlier periods unless it is impracticable to do so.[28] In the final rule we conform the language of Item 101 with the language of SFAS No. 131 regarding when a company must restate." Nice try; no cigar. IABG revenues and earnings were flat with last year. -mb
