OT-Tax question: Is anyone familiar with the California tax situation? I am considering a move to CA in the future, but do not know how cap gains are taxed. Specifically: if you have long-term capital gains, do you have to pay state tax on them in CA? Or does that just apply to short-term gains? Any help much appreciated.
