Wayne, Experience and maturity has made me suspect of anyone who has a vested interest in presenting subjective data a certain way. Like a short seller or poot holder finding problems with INTC's report? I've seen both sides of the debate on GDP growth and CPI. I just ignore most government stats now and look at what I know is real. If only everybody started to make statistical observations based on single sample inputs, won't the world be a better place? :-) I know what interest rates are and I know what my companies are really earning. You know the nominal interest rate only. You do not know the real interest rate. -BGR.
