gc - q has been looking anaemic for a quite a few days now. i think its picked up a whole bunch of shorts who wish for the q exactly the opposite that we do. I've posted that I think the market is going to tank starting sometime in the middle of next week just as it di around this time last year and at roughly the same point in the earnings cycle in May last year and in July. Nothing sinister only professionals locking in their profits for the rest of the quarter till they get goig again in mid-March. Lack of buying pressure just leads to the market tanking. As for the Q well following GPs last post and interpolating all the other good news and reviews that we've seen in the last couple fo months leads me to guess that the Q will blow the earnings away. But the market isn't going to credit the Q at least unitl a day ro two before hand and then we'll probably see one ggod day if that followed by 'buy on the rumour - sell on the news'. In short the Q is best viewed as a long term play or as GP once put it to me, just put them on the drawer, go away and forget about them! Best regards, L
