All -- I thought participants on this thread might benefit from my calls to analysts today. Doug Lind, M.D., who recently left Paine Webber for Morgan Stanley, explained that he had not yet had time to pick up coverage of CNSI at Morgan, but was still very intrigued with the company. I asked him if he was pressured while at PW to cover the stock to help bring in Investment Banking business and he was very convincing in telling me, "No, not at all -- I undertook coverage of the company because of the promising things they were doing in the Central Nervous System area, and the promise of Cerestat." As some of you know who own this stock, one of CNSI's greatest promoters, Ed Hurwitz, of Robertson Stephens, was recently hired to be CFO of Affymatrix. Accordingly, he is no longer available to cover the stock and take calls. My inquiry to the analyst at RS who will probably take over coverage just yielded a conversation with his assistant -- but this was also very reassuring that there was nothing unusual going on with the company, and that the next "event" will be a preliminary assessment of the Phase III trials going on in June '97.

FYI, I added to my position after making these "due diligence" calls. Keep up the discussion, particularly the debate about the research results and their interpretation! I like the stock, but my eyes are wide open....
