I pay $300 a year for the Gilder letter, a discounted price.

10 of the 20 stocks he has recommended are up 200% or more.

He told me about Global Crossing at $25.

He feels the part of Cube that is not going to HLIT is more valuable than the part being sold.

So if we receive $40-50 a share of HLIT, I get the impression that he feels the 60% of the business and balance sheet not being sold is worth a bundle.

He says "C-Cube chip prospects are soaring..." and he said they sold over 2 million DVD chips in the second and third quarter and 1999 is a great year for DVD but nothing compared to the year 2000 and 2001. He says "C-Cube microchip arm could emerge as a significant player in storewidth, enabling fast access to any array of digital video storage and delivery systems from the internet to broadcast satellites (the future).

Hold on baby, I think we may have the next Broadcom. That baby has run to $300 a share during the last two years, a Gilder recommendation by the way.

Gilder says Storewidth is the next paradigm, combining bandwidth and storage.

He's a very bright Harvard MBA. He charges $5,000 and up to attend one of his seminars. Too expensive for me.
