I agree to an extent -- why pay up on the vol -- wait a few days, unless you are confident a crash is right around the corner -- many living testaments to that folly on this thread

But as to strike prices I think 15 pts is near enough to the high -- in a real selloff -- 20 points can be lost very quickly -- it is a matter of risk

1) How much money you want to risk vs.

2a) How likely it is for you to win
b) How big you want to win if you do

I want to win big and am willing to take lesser odds of winning. MB talks this a lot and I am sure he has a very good method suited to him in choosing risk/reward, but I get the idea that he doesn't look at support levels ...

I think it is time for a few BK bets, we are in an extreme situation ... risk a little to win a lot. Hence I'd buy 85's or a combo of 85's and 80's
