Globalstar service in France during storms two weeks ago is duly noted by France Telecom francetelecom.fr Alta Vista translation of first paragraph and blurb about G* follows: "The situation is stabilized on the telephone network of France Telecom (Point 6 this day at 15 hours). The solidarity of France Telecom for the communes isolated and deprived completely of means of communication also plays, with the loan of a hundred satellite mobile terminals of the Globalstar network. " Unfortunately, FT hasn't seen fit to highlight G* service availability elsewhere on its web site.
