(g) I know that you fully understand the other side of the coin, which is,....what if those same foreigners decided that owning U.S. denominated paper assets of any kind ensures a double loss,...falling prices in U.S. dollar terms, as well as losses in the home currency. The bond/treasury situation suggests that they are beginning to understand (finally) the true value of certain U.S. paper assets (a "promise-to-repay"), especially when there is a ton of similar promises around and a perfect track record of non-repayment.
