I disagree. "You've got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them." If you bought MSFT around IPO time and held onto it (which I didn't) you'd be much "smarter" than having sold it along the way.

If you buy a baby gorilla, hold onto it. Otherwise trade in and out of lesser companies.
