Qualcomm's Annual Meeting is at 9:30AM on Tuesday, March 7th, at the San Diego Symphony Building, 333 W Harbor, San Diego.
I am booking a block of rooms at a Major Hotel, to be announced Monday, after I confirm. Room rate, with tax, is about $225.00. This includes Airport Transportation. You will be able to call the Hotel and confirm your own room against our block booking. I have discovered that there are several conventions going on that week, so space is limited at all Hotels, and we need to book ahead.
I am planning a Buffet Luncheon on Tuesday for us in a meeting room at the Hotel. This will run about $30 per person. My initial thinking is that it will be chaired by our fearless Leader, Uncle Frank, and that he, I, and Mike Buckley will speak, with a lot of round table discussion afterwards.
We will have a party that night, Tuesday, at "Tio Lios", a Mexican night club, featuring tacos, enchiladas shrimp chimichangas, and crab quesadillas, and I am hiring the best Big Band in San Diego, "Big Time Operator" to play. I will cost it out for us when I get the number of people coming.
I would suggest that you fly in Sunday, plan to go to the world famous San Diego Wild Animal park, Sea World, or take a whale cruise on Monday. Then on to the meeting, the luncheon, and one hell of a party!
