Yes, it clearly doesn't add up.

The last thing they need is to ramp a new core, new fab, and new process.

And the mustang die is gonna be HUGE with up to 2Mb of on-chip cache.

I smell a typical AMD flub instead of taking modest steps - which they were implementing with ATIQ where they go for a HOME run and flail about.

Frankly I would feel much better if they started simply running k6-2+ in dresden or current Athlon designs.
