Here's summary from a Yahoo post about the Buy Rating that Robertson Stephens just issued:

I just read the full report from Robertson Stephens and they speak highly of CommerceBridge. I think CommerceBridge is the real gold mine that DRIV has and once more of the investment community realize this, we'll break all time highs in no time. Here are some great excerpts about CommerceBridge:
"In our opinion, Digital River's new CommerceBridge offering is well positioned to be a leading full-service B2B outsourced solution for companies establishing an eCommerce presence. Digital River provides assistance by building store front and provideing transaction processing, order fulfillment, fraud protection, and 24/7 live customer support. Bricks and mortar companies interested in testing an Internet strategy can do so with lower risk, lower cost, and faster implementation than possible with more complex solutions."
"We believe CommerceBridge allows clients to establish a presence online more quickly and at a lower cost than with traditional consultancies. This time and cost savings, we believe, will position Digital River as the solution of choice for medium and large companies. In addition, bricks and mortar companies interested in testing an Internet strategy can do so at a dramatic cost savings to traditional solutions that can cost more than $1 million. CommerceBridge is also able to develop and launch a Web site in a matter of days versus an industry average of 6-12 months. Currently, Digital River has attracted 20 CommerceBridge customers including such well-known companies as Sega, Fujitsu, and 3M."
"CommerceBridge's competition comes primarily from consultancies such as RazorFish, BroadVision, and Sapient. We believe that Digital River has an edge versus these competitors based on cost, speed to market and back end support. Digital River is able to launch an eCommerce site for significantly less money most consultants charge. Additionally, it takes the average site 5-12 months to luanch, while CommerceBridge advised sites which can be up in a matter of days. Finally, Digital River is able to provide extensive back-end support, such as transaction processing, order fulfillment, fraud protection, and 24/7 live customer support. We believe that based on lower costs, faster spped to market and comprehensive back-end support, Digital River has positioned itself as a full-service eCommerce solution able to serve a broad range of clients."
So, DRIV Longs, what do you think? Also, don't miss an old CNBC interview (11/24/99) I transcribed which talks a little about their B2B strategy. The CEO says that we got the Sega site up in "3 days" which we all know is a CommerceBridge site. With that type of fast set up, I don't see any reason why CommerceBridge can be a leading platform for eCommerce.
