A 9600k modem?

You must have time to read chapters of books like "Gone With The Wind" between messages.

I recently got hooked up to a cable modem, and at times SI is still slow compared to Yahhooligans and Raving Bullies.

At times, my 56k dial-up was so unbearable, I simply logged off. Of course, I have never been logged on at 56K, around 48K was the best that I remember.
