Yes, but he has called those dips in advance.

What do you mean by that? He said things to the effect that if the market goes down, buy. Or, the market has already come down, so now is the time to buy. Exactly what many of the talking heads on CNBC or those high-school investment clubs or grannies' knitting clubs have been doing all along.

In any case, he has done something different this time. Going from 100% equities to 60% cash is a decisive enough statement. Let's see if he is right or wrong on that one. This is the big one, and we all know it. His reputation hinges on whether he got it right or not.
