I don't know if you can determine the market until some more things play out. There is a good point in your post about "sales". Ok you hit the nail on the button! IMO, I believe they will push the device internationally. Proove the revenue model overseas BEFORE FDA approval and when it comes, and it will come, the stock could go seriously vertical. The device cost roughly 250-300K with HPM. If it is a standard, and it conceivably may well be, you could be talking 1-2k units shipped a year atleast. [ 20-40 a state] And that is not bringing the fluorescent imaging patent licensing royalties into account. Big money.
