Ali -- remember accounting is purely an exercise in fantasy. There is no such thing as "true accounting." There is only legal and illegal accounting. If you use unacceptable tricks, you get fired and maybe go to jail. If you use acceptable tricks, you get a raise, more options, and can have your own company in time. It also helps to occasionally sell a part or so (which aren't fantasy -- unless they are vapor ware (like UltraSparc III).
