Think... Bre-X has attempted to vindicate itself but the media and the "street" are having nothing of it. Nothing that has been said by Bre-X is taken seriously. Wild theories are postulated about salting YET not one genuis in the world domain can explain how it was done... (please not the gold chloride and other idiotic stuff)... and if it was done it was beyond masterful and required sophisticated talent and techniques... and over 2 years NON-STOP.... YET... No-one will take the Bre-X corner over Freeport... because it is just as difficult to explain the Freeport results. When you compare the two implausible events the world is now comparing the companies "stature" and they have decided to give Freeport the benefit of the doubt I/O Bre-X. Given that FCX is a multi-billion dollar enterprise and an NYSE company.... could they have made a mistake? . Well if the answer is a resounding NO then I guess every entrepreneur might as well pack their bags and go home......... The Globe&mail (soon to be sued I'm sure) today is focusing on FCX's assay results indicating that they keep assaying and reassaying but NO GOLD.... their is no GOLD in the samples because IMHO they left it in the ground by poor core recovery or on the table by poor sample preparation..... not too much longer to wait.....
