"he is now considered something of a guru and his picks
have become something of a self fulfilling prophecy. "

Some of you guys have a "self fulfilling" opinion of your own BS. George has been a thought leader i.e. "guru" on technology subject matter for the last decade. It is merely people like you who have "now" tried to turn his perspective into one of a stock "guru".

I fully agree with Dan B.'s point of view in the prior post and buy George's reports and books to better appreciate the underlying trends in technological change that George has identified as significant. George gets my two thumbs up for his concise thinking and reporting on significant matters --- not for being a newly found stock guru for the day trader mentality. That is just laughable. If you ever doubt George's capabilities as a "thinker and communicator" on a disverse set of subject matter, then I suggest you read some of his other books on subjects other than technology. They are out there -- politics, women's movement, marriage, crime, etc etc. The man has shown me that he can "cut to the chase" and get to the significant issues on every subject he has ever chosen to investigate. Fortunately, for those of us who have both the desire and need to understand the progression of technology, George has found an area where his unique skills are widely appreciated. Those who truly understand George's contributions are not buying his letter for stock picks.
