There seemed to be 245 unread (by me)messages on the the thread, so excuse if someone has pointed this out, but would you look at what these fools have done in the name of protecting us from a Y2K bank panic? bog.frb.fed.us Look at the percentage increases leading into December. They are higher than a year before. Generally governments only allow this kind of money supply explosion when they are tottering politically or in a war of very doubtful outcome. To do this in peacetime and during political stability is incredible.
