double-plus - Why anyone would short a stock like NTRX with a RS of 99 is certainly puzzling to me. The company is a player in a dynamic market and when compared to its peers like CLRN still seems very cheap. I have to laugh when I read the boards that are dedicated to the short side of the market. Not only are they consistently wrong but even when right are willing to settle for small profits. Now one day it may be profitable to short stocks and when that day arrives I may do so. (Read Barrons - another short fund collapsed). I have made a lot of money in the market by being long and I currently hold 50,000 NTRX purchased at 3.00. The money that has been made in stocks like LBRT, MCOM, AGIL, ARBA, etc. has been enormous and the long side has certain been the way to play this market. The idea in the stock market is to "MAKE MONEY". Other wise owning stocks as minority shareholders is BS anyway. I was amused when Auric Goldfinger made some negative remarks about PCNTF when Steve Harmon picked it as one of his 10 stocks for 2000. Now I don't love PCNTF but I did buy it at 43 in anticipation of it making his list based on his previous comments. I sold it in the 60's after thenew years. I remember all the negative comments about the poor management at Aironet (AIRO), a stock I purchased after the IPO. CSCO didn't seem to mind when they they purchased the company. I remember constant negative postings on RRRR and even though the company may be suspect (I did own it when it was in the air conditioning business) being short was not the way to play this stock. The shorts on the boards have constantly been bombarding CYOE and yet the company
is still trading and the price has been stable.

I don't totally disagree with this board when they are on the long side however. I did anticipate the PNJA - ELON connection and bought PNJA on Thursday at 17 1/8. I also own PFSW although its performance has been disappointing.

Of course if the whole market collapses the shorts will have their day and I hope to join them.
