Mr. BSL USPIX shorts QQQ x 2. (beta = neg 1.45 x 2 = -2.90 ~ -3) Your beta calculation of -1.45 is against the Nasdaq I presume or is it against the S and P 500? Curiously, I have been tracking this fund for awhile and have come to the conclusion that in a bear market you can easily make significant amounts of money with this fund and if your forecast is off you can pack your bags and go to the poor house assuming you have any possessions left.
