Thanks for the posting the quality comments from the Yahoo boards. Strategically, one would think that CMTO has the upper hand going forward following 1.0 Certification. But TERN's stock continues to perform.

How much of what we read here is the truth? Has TERN's CDMA technology truly been shelved by CableLabs for its 1.2 Certification? Does the term "shelved" indicate an interim solution to be revisited later?

On a more technical note, what benefit does S-CDMA technology offer once an MSO moves to a HFC plaform? My understanding was that the benefit of S-CDMA technology was primarily (or solely) of benefit to cable plant consisting entirely of co-axial copper. Is this not correct?

If it is not correct, then what competitive benefits does S-CDMA technology offer the MSO as they migrate to an HFC platform? Or does it merely ensure that the modems they buy from TERN today will provide their customers utility as the plant is upgraded from all-co-axial to HFC?

To those with technical expertise, please advise. Thanks.
