"risking 50,000 dollars to make 85 dollars is a disaster waiting to happen"
Not really, these daytraders scalping only hold a few minutes, and I've never seen a stock drop from 50 to 0 in a couple minutes. I have seen YHOO drop 35 to 50 points in 10 minutes and go back up the next ten, but you don't want to bother with ISLD and scalping YHOO. They only scalp slow moving stocks, you don't have time to bid a fast momentum stock, and if the trade begins to move against them they enter "SELL at market through SOES getting instant, and I mean instant execution. I will buy a fast moving stock, routing SOES, at market and & my order status pops up in 2 seconds comfirming I just bought. I am tracking bids, tick x tick on a chart at this time and when the chart turns down I click sell, at market SOES and I get a 2 second confirmation I am out. Playing momentum stocks, on news, one does not have time to enter bids & play the scalping game.
