Ok we have 1,100,000 (5 million * .22) in the trading portion of the overall portfolio and that may be easier to get invested as we just need stocks that we like short-term and have nice technical set ups.

how about it we divide the 1,100,000 (which is .22 of the overall portfolio) and we'll place 80 K into our initial trading picks, that would give us about 14 stocks and since
we could potentially invest in, and if we see a really attractive stock we could double up if we wanted to.

As time goes on we may decide that we like having more like 8 or 10 stocks in the trading portion or more like 20.

Obviously too many will be too hard to watch. We will probably use at least some mechanical stop-losses, which will be in accordance with sound money management discipline.

how about if we buy 80K each of CAMP, SIRI and CNXT, and we will buy an additional 30K of CNXT and put it in our Longer term buy and hold area of the portfolio.

I'm sure Mike will have a buy or two in mind. We can get going. shall we buy on the open or 15 minutes into trading.
We may want to have a kill order condition if the stock is up more than say 15 or 20% 15 minutes into trading.

I think I will charge us a a sch type 29$ per trade. MER is executing trades for that rate too I believe.

lets see what mike thinks about this -g-
