An excerpt from the company's form 27 filed on Jan 13,2000 The proposed acquisition of the interest in Gotop may result in a change of business for the Company according to the policies of the Canadian Venture Exchange (“CDNX”) and the transaction is subject to the approval of CDNX. Since it is already listed on the CDNX, I doubt the halt has anything to do with the sponsorship. A company looking to move to the CDNX might encounter some problems related to the sponsorship requirements ... Either way, what is encouraging is the following: The Company also announces that its previously announced non-brokered private placement of 1,300,000 units is, subject to regulatory approval, being replaced by a private placement of 1,600,000 units at a price of $0.30 per unit.
