Ramsey lets talk about the new moon or 3-G. Before we do that let me explain about Alcatel and Siemens. They both were convinced the WLL was going to be a huge success and worked with IDC on that project. As you know the Asian contasion killed that project along with all the other areas that had money problems. The research that went into the project such as developing the Asic for fixed wasn?t. Much of that technology will be used in the three G Asic.

If you are talking about management as far as key personnel being light weight I agree. If it?s about engineering skills then I disagree. I consider Nokia asking IDC for help versus the Q a very strong point. There are many that will benefit from having IPR in the standards the ITU has set and IDC having IPR in all 5 standards will also benefit.

Any company that provides Asic?s for these standards should do extremely well. The Q and IDC both will have Asics ready for that market and both should benefit if companies use them.

Here?s a link to an audio called the Tech Power Show hosted by F. Gaskins and his guests are Brian Kierman of IDC along with Phil Redman and Jim Garden.

It?s all about 3-G. Soon they will have a Qualcomm guest.

IDC receives royalties for IPR just as the Q does and currently has no product for sale but provides engineering skills for the likes of Nokia. The only way I compare IDC to Qualcomm is that they are both providing technology. When you said: and who knows what is working on some where , I think that who is IDC.

I?m glad your spending someone else?s money on those March puts and not yours. I think you will be quite surprised between now and then.
