tc, I am pretty sure, the ProT are the ones that cost $38 bucks a dozen at the discount places right? I have a fast swing and control is either on or off. Not a lot of gray area there, when I am off its really off. I also hit down on the ball really hard. I am pretty sure I damaged a few of those. Keep in mind that I got another set of clubs this summer (play with a couple different sets depending on which me shows up that day), and the new grooves were cutting hard balls too. A long drive for me is 280, so no Long Drive Nationals for me. Did you see Tiger and Ernie play last Sunday? I had lunch with some customers and we were talking about it. One dude said it was all equipment! What a joke, Tiger is just the next evolution, and anyone who wants to play the last day with him must elevate their game. Ernie has lost the last two playoff with him, but it makes for great golf. Thurston
