SarkieBug,

You are not interrupting, you are certainly welcome here.

I will admit those were exceptional closing holes. I can't remember a duel that good in the last year.

I have never played any course out there. I hope to someday.

You play from the reds and you hit a 310! Wow that is some distance for anyone. I need some of those trade winds! The putting looks pretty tough there, but I think it is on any course set up for the PGA. I won't ask you about the putting, but I bet your story is similar to mine.

I was playing a local course and we had big winds at our back. Every once in a while you get one just right and I hit this ball in the air 332 yards (at least that the best we could figure after we walked it off from the center of the green). By far the longest drive I had ever hit. You could not even see the green as it dogged a bit to right behind some trees. Anyway when we walked up to the green the group in front of us was not happy about someone hitting a ball into them. One of my buddies blurted out to this guy that I was on the tee when I hit it. Well it was time to putt and with 7 people watching me I proceeded to three putt from about 20 for a par 4. What a bozo.

How long have you been playing? and I am always interested in what factor played a role in getting you interested in the game.

Keep Swingin

Thurston
