Howdy Blue, with a stock that goes up 50% in 2 weeks i'd SELL IT at the first pullback i wouldn't buy more, It's So Simple. Can't always get a Full 909 on it The First Time. Learned that lesson with hard-earned money, haven't we all. I wouldn't buy a stock after a runup like that no matter HOW good it looks (exception at the beginning of a Rally with a split coming soon) - but would put it on the watchlist and wait for the dip and the pop for next time if it's still good. Personally, i only buy internet stocks i can watch myself and read the language... so a Spanish Internet doesn't qualify. But let's leave Mr. Aloha with a nice global wireless web pick he might like, and some advice. Isn't that what Jed would do? More friendly-like.
Bought some IN (Infonet) which is a European wireless etc. recently - (there's a new-on-the-market nice ticker but it's probably too slow right now for Mr. Aloha it hasn't even had it's first run yet) as it's easy to watch plus a friend in Europe said it's prominent as they say it is so that's good enough for me. The exceptions like theqcoms & theyhoos amazing continued runup recently way past a fast 50% pop are just that - exceptions. Had sold both too early and was kicking myself til i looked at the quacks of pops and re-buys of Time Testeds on the sells list - None were bought at the TOP of such a run as 50% in 2 weeks.
Spam Foreign Ticker + At Top Of Run-Up = An Avoid
So i second the thumbs-down on TRRA Hype and also second like you said Blue "Who Does He Think He's Talking To?" But if he's ready to dump and short it again quick now, of course this is just the ideal post for lookers in text search. At least they'll have to waste more time finding what they're looking for, some might give up. What they want is a 3 sentence hype or bash on the ticker at best.
So ShakaBrah to Mr. Aloha he could use a nice shave-ice to cool down and he won't be finding it here where Jed's # House Rule is Take Your Shoes Off and Say Howdy First. A word of advice - might be best to take a moment checking on investment style and expertise to gauge possible response before spamming picks on SI Threads to save time. More Time Saved = More Threads Contacted makes sense. Coming as a stranger to a thread like Techride where everyone knows to look First Thing on the Profile for mellow background and a multitude of spam posts - it seems like to keep arguing would be (as Flea from RedHotChiliPeppers said so well) "That would be, a waste of time".
Perhaps Mr. Aloha would find a more likely Point Break @ surfline.com - & Go Get Tubed on a nice UP DOWN UP DOWN HOLD SHORT HOLD SHORT argumental rhythm so popular elsewhere etc.
909s2ALL,
Joan
